Tajikistan ambassador visits IMA

The ambassador of Tajikistan, Sulton Rahimzoda, visited the Indian Military Academy (IMA) on Tuesday. During the visit, he interacted with the Officiating commandant of the IMA, Major General G S Rawat and discussed a variety of issues related to training and administration of Gentlemen Cadets (GC)  of Tajikistan who are undergoing training at IMA.

A communique from the IMA said that the interactions clearly symbolise the spirit of friendship and cooperation between the two friendly nations.

The ambassador of Tajikistan also interacted with the Tajikistani Gentlemen Cadets. At present 20 Tajiki GC are currently undergoing training at Indian Military Academy. The Defence Attache of Tajikistan  Lt Col Rahmoli Sattorov also accompanied the ambassador during the visit. The duo appreciated the training infrastructure at IMA and also commended the training staff for imparting high standard of military training to the Gentlemen Cadets of Friendly Foreign Countries.
