The sudden drop in the temperatures being experienced across the State since the beginning of November has announced the onset of the winter months.
According to the Meteorological Centre Ranchi, the present temperature measured all over the State is near normal for this time of the year and for the next few days the temperature is also likely to remain the same. “Since the winter season is approaching, it is only natural that the temperatures will gradually fall. The drop in the mercury levels is normal for this time of the year. Considering the present weather condition, the winter season will come slowly with a gradual dip in the mercury levels,” said Satish Chandra Mandal, Weather Forecasting Officer, MET Centre, Ranchi.
As per the weathermen, for the next two –three days, the temperature will remain more or less the same all over Jharkhand. The sky will be clear with no chances of rainfall but residents of the State will feel a slight nip in air.
