Monsoon withdrawal has been witnessed on Sunday across the State except few places in Indore, Hoshangabad and Jabalpur divisions, said Weathermen on Sunday.
With the withdrawal temperatures have started to dip across the state. The late night and early morning hours are cold and would witness same pattern for the next few days. Significant dips in the temperatures are less likely to be witnessed.
The night temperatures have been dipped to 17 degree Celsius in the past two days while day temperatures are still witnessed with little hotness and recorded around 32 degree Celsius at most of the places in the state.
Among the nearby areas Hoshangabad division recorded significant dip in night temperatures in the past 24 hours. Significant dip in day temperatures was recorded in Chambal division and temperatures were recorded below normal temperature.
Except 2-3 places rainfall activities were not witnessed in the past two days. In the past 24 hours Bhainsadehi recorded 2 cm of rainfall which was the highest rainfall while Nepanagar recorded 1 cm of rainfall.
State capital has started witnessed cold night as temperature dipped to 17.6 degree Celsius and according to the forecast day and night temperatures are likely to witness around 32 and 18 degree Celsius on Monday.
The highest day temperature was recorded at 35 degree Celsius in Khajuraho and Naugoan. The lowest night temperature dipped to 16 degree Celsius in Betul. According to the forecast weather conditions are likely to remain dry in the next 24 hours in the state.
