There is vast scope in edu, sports in State: Patwari

Minister for Higher Education Jitu Patwari said that India is a country of opportunities and there is vast scope in education and sports sector in Madhya Pradesh, the Heart of India. Patwari was expressing his views on ‘Exploring Collaboration in Education and Youth Welfare and Sports between the UK and India (MP)’ at British Parliament in London.

Patwari said that India and UK have had close relations since last several decades. UK has always supported India. He said that Madhya Pradesh has emerged as a major investment option in India. We have formulated sector wise policies to encourage industrial investment in the state. In the month of October, 'Magnificent Madhya Pradesh' investor summit is being organized in Indore. Patwari said that the investment process will be conducted with full transparency. Work will be done in a planned manner to ensure employment to the people of the state.

Patwari said that many new innovations are being undertaken in the field of education and sports in Madhya Pradesh. He said that during the last six months, work on about 80 per cent of the innovations of Cambridge Assessment English has already been started in Madhya Pradesh. It is a matter of pride.

The Minister informed that skill and Sports University will be established in Indore soon. He said that industrial units should prepare and provide us such syllabus, which should be based on the needs and products of the industries. With this we will be able to prepare our students accordingly.

Chairman of Indo-British All Party Parliamentary Group Virendra Sharma, Executive President and Co-Founder of Global Policy Insights Uday Nagraju, Deputy Mayor of London Rajesh Agrawal, Regional Network Chairman of University of UK International Kevin Beth, Senior Policy Advisor Ana Sonley, Chairman of Association of Commonwealth Universities Kudzai Muronzi and Commissioner Higher Education Madhya Pradesh Raghavendra Singh were also present on this occasion.
