Proving their mettle three Bokaro students qualified in National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) 2019 conducted by NCERT while five students qualified Science Maths Talent Examination (SMTE) conducted by DPS Society in Association with Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF).
The students who qualified for NTSE are Priyanshu Ranjan, Vivek Kumar and Utkarsh Kumar are the students of DPS Bokaro. NTSE is a national-level scholarship programme in India at the Secondary school level to identify and recognize students with high intellect and academic talent, informed Mritunjay Sharma, Administrator cum PRO of DPS Bokaro. Meanwhile, Harsh Rai, Rohit Verma, Anshu Priya, Saksham Kumar and Harsh Bihany qualified for SMTE; they are awarded a cash prize of Rs 1,000 and a certificate each, informed Mritunjay. More than 21,000 students from across the country took the SMTE exam and only 120 students were selected for the final stage in the country of which 5 students are from DPS Bokaro, he said.
All of them (students) were felicitated today in a special assembly convened at the campus. Principal, DPS Bokaro, A. S. Gangwar congratulated the students and said, “The success achieved is the resultof dedication and devotion of students.
