The State Meteorological Centre has forecast the possibility of light to moderate rain, thunderstorm and snowfall which is likely to occur at many places of the State on Monday. Snowfall is very likely to occur at places situated at altitudes above 3,000 metres. There is also a yellow warning of hail which is likely to occur at isolated places.
The overall weather for the state as well as for the provisional State Capital Dehradun is going to be generally cloudy. Rain and thunderstorms are likely to occur in Dehradun on Monday.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 19 degree Celsius and 11 degree Celsius respectively.
The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded at the various town of the state on Sunday were 21.7 degree Celsius and 8.7 degree Celsius in Dehradun, 19.9 degree Celsius and 11.6 degree Celsius in Pantnagar, 12.4 degree Celsius and -0.1 degree Celsius in Mukteshwar, and 11.6 degree Celsius and 2.4 degree Celsius in New Tehri respectively.
