Trainers’ meet on cyber security held at IIIT

The International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Bhubaneswar in association with the Odisha Electronics and Information Technology Department and Odisha Police organised a Masters’ Trainers Programme on ‘Cyber Security and Security Awareness’ here on Saturday.

The programme was organised in support of Information Security Education and Awareness (ISEA), an initiative of Union Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and Cyber Dost, an initiative of Union Ministry of Home Affairs.

Odisha’s E and IT Principal Secretary Manoj Kumar Mishra, IIIT BBS Director Prof Gopal Krishna Nayak and Computer Science Professor Dr Debasish Jena attended as guests in the programme which aims to create master trainers for educating against cyber crime matters. 

On the occasion, IIIT BBS Registrar Prof Ajit Das was honoured by the guests. As many as 170 persons attended the programme.
