The Gurugram Mahanagar Development Authority (GMDA) has developed a mobile App and its trial has already started. Through this, the residents of Gurugram will get many facilities related to basic amenities. App will be launched by September.
Through this App, people can avail several facilities like complaints about water, sewer, drainage, waterlogging, city bus location and road information.
Apart from this, there will be an option of Smart Solution. It is also being worked on. Information about the city will also be found on the app. What's new in the city will all be on the app. Information about future plans will also be available on the App.
This app will be different for the public and officials. The deficiency found during the trial will be rectified and started with the updated version.
"This app will have the facility of filing taxes and bills of GMDA. A separate icon will be on the app for this. The users will be able to take advantage of this facility. Initially, this facility will be available for GMDA, later on adding the Municipal Corporation, Haryana Urban Development Authority etc., the bill or tax can be filled here," said, PK Aggarwal head of GMDA Smart City Project.
Apart from this, information and location of ATMs kiosk, Metro station, Toilet, Cinema hall, Railway station, Bus stand can be seen on the app itself. Also, it will also have an SOS number for an emergency, on which any kind of information can also, be shared on the number.
"The trial has been started of the App. It is expected to launch by September. After this, people will be able to take advantage of a dozen facilities on it," he said.
