The Bhopalites enjoyed a calm evening with tribal music and dance at Madhya Pradesh State Tribal Museum. The event was held under Uttaradhikar series here on Sunday.

The programme started by Inder Singh (Dhar) with his fellow artists with 'Bhil tribal singing'. The artists started the performance by presenting the song 'Mai Mi Janam Liyo'. The artists then mesmerized the audience in the auditorium with their singing skills by presenting the songs 'Khel-Khel Re Mara Nana Porya' and 'Mije Tari Mai Tujhe Maru Lal', centered on the child's birth.

After this, the artists performed the wedding-oriented song 'Khadmari Khodan Jawa' with their artistic singing skills. The performers stopped their singing rendition by presenting the songs 'Quarri Gay Ko Gobar' and 'Nilor Mandav Nilor Toran' on marriage.

He was accompanied on vocals by Champabai, Mamtabai, Nirmalbai, Sharmilabai, Chitabai, Jamnabai, Sajanbai and Lilabai, Sher Singh on the plate and Thawa Singh on the mandal. Inder Singh has been active in the field of singing and dancing for a long time. Inder Singh has given many presentations of Bhil tribal singing and dances at various art forums of the country.

After Bhil tribal singing, Prakash Singh Bisht (Almora) performed 'Kumaoni Folk Dance' with his fellow artists. The artists started the dance performance by presenting 'Chapeli Dance'. Chapeli dance is a traditional dance of Kumaon, this dance is often organized in fairs, weddings and manglic programs. This is a beautiful folk style of expression of the love of the soul. In this dance, there is a known color of love and euphoria, a dance free from love-loving conversation.

The young men and women who perform this dance often dance in pairs. After the chapel dance, the artists mesmerized the audience present in the auditorium with their artistic dance skills. This dance focuses on water, for this reason it is called Paniyari dance. In this dance, laughter and jokes are seen.

After the Paniyari dance, the performers performed the 'Ghassiyari dance'. The beauty of Uttarakhand was described in this dance. Prakash Singh Bisht gave a pause to his dance performance by performing 'Chanchari Nritya' along with his fellow artists. The Chanchari dance is organized mainly on fairs, festivals or on any manic occasion.

The theme of this dance is related to religious worship and love of nature. During this dance, the song is sung in a bilambit laya, with Hukka being its main instrument.
