Two engineers suspended, showcause notice to three

CMD of Madhya Pradesh Paschim Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company Vikas Narwal on Thusday suspended two engineers and issued show-cause notices to three engineers for irresponsibility and mismanagement in distribution of electricity.

JE Rakesh Khakare Prajapati of Ghatiya Ujjain and JE KM Nandwal of Julwania area of Badwani have been suspended. SE of Badwani Anil Negi, SR Kharte of Sendhwa and RK Harode of Ujjain rural have been served show-cause notice. CMD Vikas Narwal told that each and every engineer and employee of MPPKVVC should work sincerely and resolve the complaints and the problems of the consumer timely.

Now, the electricity department will randomly call the consumer connected to each feeder and their feedback and suggestion regarding the service of electricity in their area will be enquired. Everyday 70 customers of each feeder will receive call for their feedback. CMD Vikas Narwal told that all the 11 kv feeder of all the 15 districts which comes under Madhya Pradesh Paschim Shetra Vidyut Vitran Company are operational and due to the change in climate the feeders are affected which again are restored. The distribution of electricity from all the 1404 grid of MPPKVVC is now normal.

Lightening thunder wind falling of trees affects the electricity supply. There is a 10 percent increase in the supply load in comparison to last year. Last year, the load in April was 3047 megawatt and this year maximum load is 3772 mega watt. Due to the decrease in temperature there is a decrease in load in urban areas.

The centralized control rooms receive the latest reports of electricity distribution of all 15 districts in every 3 hours. The additional chief secretary of power department of Madhya Pradesh ICP Keshari visited the substation of Ozhar Badwani and examined the operation of substation CMD MPPKVVC Vikas Narwal was also present with him.
