He said that his son was the personal choice of the Prime Minister and the BJP chief for the Hissar Lok Sabha constituency. Not only the people of Uchana, but of entire constituency should be proud that Brijendra has been selected by Modi and Shah, he said adding that voters must ensure that the BJP gets the Hissar seat with maximum margin.

While addressing the gathering, Brijendra said that his father will be charioteer of his political Rath. He said that he was taking the first step in politics from his native place.

I was not aware that my father would have to pay a heavy price by submitting resignations from his posts on me taking the first step in politics,  Brijendra said.

“While in service as an IAS officer I would have offended many due to official constraints. But there, my responsibility was towards laws and to work within the framework of the rules and regulations, he said adding that but now he had entered politics to serve all with full humility and dedication.

Seeking support of the people he said that the relationship would not be of five years, but it would be lifelong.

Later, while talking to the mediapersons,  Brijendra said that he will be filing his nomination on April 20.
