Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik has accepted the resignations of three ministers of the Yogi Adityanath Council of Ministers who have been elected to the Lok Sabha.
The resignations of the three ministers were forwarded by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to the Governor.
On the advice of the Chief Minister, the Governor also redistributed the portfolios.
The ministers who resigned include SP Singh Baghel (Animal Husbandry Minister), Rita Bahuguna Joshi (Tourism and Women Welfare Minister) and Satyadeo Pachauri (MSME and Khadi and Village Industry Minister.
Following the reallocation of the portfolios, the Chief Minister will have additional portfolio of Women Welfare and Tourism. Minority Affairs Minister Chaudhary Lakshmi Narayan will look after Animal Husbandry and Fisheries. Irrigation Minister Dharampal Singh has been given additional portfolio of Minor Irrigation.
Health Minister Sidharth Nath Singh has been given additional portfolio of Family Welfare. Industries Minister Satish Mahana will also hold the charge of the MSME and Khadi and Village Industries.
