UT to honour 21 people on I-Day function

The Chandigarh Administration will confer commendation certificates on its employees and members of the public at the Independence Day function to be held at Sector-17 Parade Ground on Thursday.

The achievers will receive awards from Punjab Governor and UT Administrator VP Singh Badnore.

Anita Kaushal, Principal, Post Graduate College of Girls Sector 11, Mahender Singh, Principal, Government College of Yoga Education & Health Sector 23, Alka Jain, Associate Professor, Government College of Art Sector 10.

 Dharam Vir, Junior Assistant, Government College of Arts Sector 10 will be  honoured for their meritorious service.

Sub Inspector Satvinder Singh, constable Meera Bheri, Excise and Taxation officer Ramesh Lal Chugh, Forestor Rohit Kumar Saini, Assistant Director Malaria-cum-State Surveillance officer Dr Upendrejeet Singh.

 MCC leading fireman Amajeet Singh, UT senior architect Rajinder Singh are among others to be honoured on the occasion of Independence Day.
