The State Meteorological Centre has forecast very light to light rainfall in the mountainous regions of Uttarakhand with dry weather likely to prevail in the rest of the State on Friday. Overall, the weather will remain mainly clear to partly cloudy sky during the next 24 hours.
In the provisional Capital of Uttarakhand, the weather will be mainly clear to partly cloudy. Thunder cloud development is likely to occur in some parts on Friday.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be 31 degree Celsius and 17 degree Celsius respectively.
Meanwhile on Thursday, the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded at various places in the State were 31.1 degree Celsius and 16.5 degree Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 30.4 degree Celsius and 17 degree Celsius in Pantnagar, 22 degree Celsius and 9.5 degree Celsius in Mukteshwar, 22.2 degree Celsius and 11.8 degree Celsius respectively in New Tehri.
