The observance of Vigilance Awareness Week was started in various institutions on Monday. At ONGC in Dehradun, executive director Preeta Pant Vyas administered the integrity pledge to the employees in Hindi while director of P&D directorate Anand Gupta administered the pledge in English. Earlier, the officials concerned spoke on the importance of the vigilance awareness week.
At the THDC India Limited in Rishikesh, the Vigilance Awareness Week was launched with the chairman and managing director DV Singh administering the integrity pledge to employees of the corporation.
On this occasion, a book on problem areas of corruption titled ‘Problem Areas of Corruption in Work Contracts/Construction Identified by CTE & Systematic Improvements Issued by Vigilance Department’ was also released by CMD along with director (personnel) Vijay Goel, chief vigilance officer BP Gupta and others.
During Vigilance Awareness Week, various programmes are being organised at THDCIL.
These include essay writing, painting and speech competitions for employees of the corporation, students of TES School and Pundit Lalit Mohan Sharma PG College, Rishikesh.
