Visually disabled players of India and Nepal meet CM

The members of visually disabled teams of India and Nepal met the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Trivendra Singh Rawat, at his residence on Saturday. In the meeting, the cricketers shared their experiences with the CM during the course of which the CM said that he would provide a sum of Rs 2 lakh to the teams. Praising the visually disabled cricketers, CM said that they have converted challenge to opportunity which is inspirational.

The CM said that the Indian team in champion in blind cricket and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always encouraged these cricketers.

It is worth mentioning here that T-20 series is undergoing between India and Nepal at Maharana Pratap sports college, Dehradun.

The series is being sponsored by USERC, CABT, THDC, UHIMT, Indus Ind Bank and Samarthanam trust for the disabled.
