A day after a video of a hostel warden thrashing two students of the Gandhi Science College here surfaced on social media, police arrested the accused warden on Tuesday.
The Khandagiri police arrested warden Biswaranjan Rana for his alleged involvement in incident.
The warden was arrested by the police after the college authorities lodged a complaint against him.
The incident had occurred on August 11 when Rana was caught on camera beating two Plus Two students, who were from Keonjhar and Jajpur districts, respectively, with a stick in the premises of the hostel for performing poorly in the examinations.
