Water supply to be hit in parts of city

Water supply would be affected in parts of national Capital on Monday due to annual flushing programme of underground reservoir in Malviya Nagar of South Delhi.

The areas where supply will not be available or available at low pressure are Malviya Nagar, Panchsheel Park S -Block, Savitri Nagar, Sarvodaya Enclave, Begumpur, Khirki Village, Khirki extension, Katwaria Sarai, Kalu Sarai, Chirag Delhi, Saket, Saidulajab, Neb Sarai, Paryavaran Complex, Freedom Fighter Colony, Anupam Apartment, Indira Enclave and Lado Sarai.

Delhi Jal Board has advised the residents to store sufficient quantity of water in advance as per their requirement to avoid further inconvenience. It also informedthat water tankers will be available at telephone numbers1916,1800117118,23527679, 23634469, (Central Control Room),18001024669 (Toll Free).
