On the occasion of World Heritage Day, various events were organised at Madhya Pradesh State Tribal Museum here on Thursday.
To begin with the event, a lecture was organized by the Department of Culture on the occasion of singing mainly in the state museum with painting competition, exhibition and subject matter.
After, the lecture the event was followed with the performance of Sunanda Sharma of the Banaras gharana in the evening. Sunanda, the great master of music, the disciple of Girija Devi, chose rare ragas and restrictions specifically for today's singing. The singer was accompanied by Majid Khan on Suhaganj and Harmonium and Majhi.
He chose the extension of Raga Bhimplassi. Rare Bihag was presented in a rare way. In the Khamaj, the singer left the audience totally mesmerized.
Earlier in the morning, the children's painting competition was organized in the state museum, in which about two hundred children took part and make pictures on our heritage. After this, the exhibition of painted paintings drawn from a glass of neglected glass at Gwalior was inaugurated by the Commissioner of Archeology Pankaj Raga. The exhibition will continue till April 25.
On this occasion, noted archaeologist SV Ota gave his lecture on the prehistoric background of Ladakh Himalayas on Jammu and Kashmir. He has traveled several times in the spoken areas. He gave a simple statement on primitive attendance, heritage and memorials in these places and displayed pictures and slides in favor of his establishment. A large number of listener-seekers were present to listen to his lecture which was fruitful for them.
