Written exam date for Assistant Nurse preponed to Oct 26

In move to provide relief to selected candidates for Nursing Assistant post, Ranchi, Army Recruiting Office changed the date of Common Entrance Examination (CCE) for the Assistant Nurse from October 27 to October 26.

Addressing a press meet on Monday Director Recruitment, Colonel IS Patyal said that due to administrative reasons, the date for conducts of CCE in respect of candidates selected under Soldier Technical (Nursing Assistant) category has been preponed from October 27 to October 26.

“The Office has called the press meet to inform all the candidates, who got selected in the Physical Test rally orgainsed in Dumka from April 9 to April 13,” he added. Assistant Recruiting Office, Vijay Singh said that the selected candidates have been informed by letter and phone calls about the change of the written examination for their convenience. “Now we are informing them through media so that people should know about the date change of the examination,” said Singh.    

When asked about reason to organize the test rally in Dumka, Singh said that in an attempt to provide better chance to tribal girls for the post the rally was organised in Dumka.

“Everyone is well aware that Indian Army provides medical facilities to its staffs in almost every State in India and for its own purpose it has own hospitals, poly clinic. Like other regular hospitals Military Hospitals (MH) also needs nursing assistant who can assist doctors so that the recruitment of nurse staff is going on,” said the Army officer. Speaking about eligibility criteria for the post Singh said to be eligible to apply for India Military, a candidate need to satisfy the eligibility criteria. “The applicant must be passed intermediate or 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as main subjects from recognized boards.

If applying on the basis of class 12th then the candidate must have scored 50 per cent marks in total and 40 per cent marks in each subject.  If candidate has graduated in B Sc with English and any of the following subjects such as Botany, Zoology, and Bio Science then the stipulated percentage in class 12th does not stipulated.

The applicant’s age must be not less than 17.6 year old and not more than 23 year old. Age will be calculated from the date of birth till the date of rally,” said Singh.     The duration of written examination will be one hour, he added.
