With an aim to win all the seven seats of Delhi in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, the Delhi Congress has decided to hold 'Jan Jagran Abhiyan' (people awareness campaign) in each district to seek support for the party and to make people aware of the "false" promises made by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led Delhi Government. The party also announced to hold conventions across the city from next week under the leadership of its Delhi unit president Sheila Dikshit.
Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) President Sheila Dikshit, on Saturday, held a meeting of district and blocks Congress committee presidents and instructed them to work with full zeal to strengthen the party and lead Congress to victory in the Lok Sabha elections.
Dikshit said that in the last four years, the AAP Government has not done anything for the development of Delhi. She said that the Government is misleading people on the name of development and taking credit of the developmental works carried out by the Congress Government during its 15-year rule. "The Congress Government changed the face of Delhi with massive development works during its 15-year rule in the National Capital, while the AAP Government is only misleading people through false propaganda.
