Choose sensibly in the new year

Wish that the year 2019 proves rewarding and fulfilling to the valued readers of this journal.  It, however, needs to be appreciated that just wishful thinking may not bear fruits, as human beings are empowered to guide their actions by choice and discrimination. Accordingly, you need to dispassionately weigh options in hand, make the most appropriate choice, which only a purified mind could do. And then, passionately put in qualitative efforts towards that end. Success is yet not fully assured.

Bear in mind; we are an inseparable part of a complex world, full of diversity, where everyone is born unique, each manifesting varying mind-traits. Therefore, no initiative on your part can go about without being faced with challenges posed by the world around. Also, you need to be alive to your societal obligations while attending to your individualistic aspirational urges, but for which, even your individual well-being would not be secure. In this respect, the year 2019 being an election year, is going to be most demanding. It also needs to be remembered that the dynamics of every emerging moment keeps changing, and accordingly its callings. Whether we mindfully respond to the callings of every emerging moment or just flow by the current will define what we become due for. The choice is yours. In this light, it becomes incumbent upon you to sensibly exercise your franchise, if at all you wish secure nation’s future.

Let us now see how the year ahead is likely to unfold for the country in 2019.  We will examine it on four counts. First, astrological alignment at the moment when the New Year takes off.  Remember, there is continuum in time and space and therefore, life needs to be seen in continuation. How things played out last year has culminated at the start of the year, over which the New Year takes off.  Second, astrological chart at time of Solar Ingress (the moment when the Sun enters Capricorn sign). For, Capricorn happens to be the natural signifying sign of India as a country. Third, Lunar Eclipse chart on Delhi coordinates happening on January 21, as that reflects upon major change in energy dynamics of nature.  Finally, India’s Independence chart.

In the New Year chart, the Sun identified with ruling dispensation is in rapt conjunction with Saturn, its dire enemy, and in the fourth house identified by common masses. This read together with Venus ill-disposed off to the Sun implies that people’s economic expectation having been belied. So, they seem to be put off with the ruling clique. Tenth lord Mercury identified with incumbent Government, occupies the third house, which being sixth from 10th implies that the power block is in debility. Even 10th sub-lord Jupiter being in the third house and that too ill-disposed off to mischievous Neptune doesn’t sound good for the Government.

The Solar Ingress chart is no better.  The Sun is locked in unholy alliance with Moon (masses) and Uranus. Tenth lord Saturn is in the eighth house of difficulties, placed adverse to its dire enemy Mars. This, in the first place, implies that overall security situation may be challenging. Also, overall societal environment is expected to be turbulent.  Neptune, ill-disposed off to Jupiter and Venus implies that communal passion may flare up. Country’s finance may be in bad shape. Female security may become a matter of concern.

Equally damning is the Lunar Eclipse chart. Mars occupying the lagna is placed adverse to Saturn posited in the 10th house. The 10th lord Jupiter is in the ninth house (12th from 10th) and locked in exchange with Mars, implying change.  Venus also involved in the exchange process, which being adverse to Neptune means that economic concerns may haunt people’s mind. Tenth sub-lord Mercury is conjunct headless Ketu and which is ill-disposed off to Uranus, implying unpredictable turn of events.

In the nation’s Independence chart, how Rahu’s stay in the Cancer sign loaded with a cluster of planets — Sun, Saturn, Venus, Mercury, and Moon — played out during the last one year and half doesn’t need any elaboration. In the second week of March, Ketu will join Saturn, the 10th lord in the ninth house, when people’s state of hopelessness is expected to multiply.

Having said that, let me make it clear that the analysis above is just indicative.  Lot of unaccountable variables play out in the change process. That includes how the leadership presents itself, and the way people of different regions react and respond. Let us now see how the wind of change blows during the year.
