Kejriwal making 1984 victims homeless: Tiwari

Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief and Member of Parliament (MP) from north east constituency Manoj Tiwari alleged that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is making 1984 ant-Sikh riots victims homeless.

Quoting Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) statement about rehabilitation of victims, Tiwari said that ruling reign had promised to provide education and employment to victim families but sudden order of vacating houses showed that CM Kejriwal is infuriated due to AAP’s defeat in Lok Sabha elections and now he is taking revenge from the families living in Punjabi Camp in Mangolpuri .

Assuring Sikh community in Delhi , the BJP leader said that BJP stand with the 1984 riot victims and will not tolerate any injustice to them. “Order issued by the Delhi Government to the 250 Sikh families, victims of 1984 riots to vacate the camp is very sad,” said Tiwari. 

“These Sikh families had given a massive mandate to the Aam Aadmi Party and the Party had promised rehabilitation, education, employment to the 1984 riot victim families.

But after coming to power, Kejriwal in place of providing relief to them, is bent upon making them homeless,” Tiwari alleged.

Meanwhile,  Tiwari on making amendments in Scholarship Program under Defence fund by

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that  the Central Government has increased the scholarship being paid per month to boys from Rs 2000 to 2250 and to girls from Rs 2050 to Rs 3000 which exhibits the positive thinking of the Government for the Jawans serving the country.
