The 13th Global Communication Conclave, organised by PRCI, at Manipal University Auditorium in Jaipur on Saturday, saw the presence of over 200 Media, Pubic Relations, Advertising, HR & Marketing professionals from India and abroad.
Amid such an august gathering, VK Kalra, a public relations and media specialist, who has contributed to the Indian Media Industry for over 30 years, was conferred with the PRCl Signature Award — The Chanakya Award — by the Public Relations Council Of India (PCRI). With a rich experience in the field of Corpoate Communication, including Public Relations, media and advertising, Mr Kalra had made valuable contributions in image building of leading Corporates like BHEL and NTPC -BHEL Power Projects Pvt Ltd ( a joint venture of NTPC and BHEL).
Currently, he is voluntarily associated with the Public Relations activities of Bharat Soka Gakkai (BSG), which is an Indian affiliate of Soka Gakkai International (SGI ); a global association of grassroot organisations that seek to promote the values of peace and respect for all people. Mr Kalra draws his inspiration from his mentor, Dr Daisaku Ikeda, president of SGI.
