Spike lee and anupam kher in one frame
Actor Anupam Kher is currently in the US, where he is busy with the shoot of his show New Amsterdam. The versatile star has been gaining accolades for his performance in the show and the success of his recent book Lessons Life Taught Me, Unknowingly.
Amid a busy schedule and handling his work in the US and back home in India, the actor decided to visit the ongoing US Open Tennis Championship where he got a surprise.
Anupam Kher bumped intro acclaimed Hollywood director Spike Lee. The Academy Award-winning filmmaker, whose film BlacKkKlansman, got multiple nominations at the Oscar and won the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.
Anupam Kher’s Bollywood work has reached global status and Spike Lee too was aware of his films.
CLEAN UP the coasts
With the seasonal changes growing each year — hotter and longer summers and lashing monsoons — we can see the effects in our daily lives! In order to work towards a better environment, this International Coastal Clean Up Day, Terence Lewis joins hands with Afroz Shah to clean up the Versova Beach in Mumbai.
The ace dancer, choreographer and reality show judge was seen actively helping volunteers clean up the beach location as they cleared the remnants of plastic and other synthetic materials that result in marine pollution.
Urging people to give up the use of plastic, Terence says: “We are a country that worships Nature as our God and we have forgotten that the ocean is the cradle of the origin of life! This is a situation which is not going to change over night but we will collectively need to take efforts to beat the raising levels of pollution to make a better tomorrow. In order to beat this, let's make a concious effort to minimise the use of plastic and non-degradable materials.”
Dream come true moment for abhilash
Actor Abhilash Chaudhary who was seen in Paltan and Tubelight will be playing pivotal role in The Zoya Factor. It stars Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan in lead.
Talking about the film and his role, he said: “The film is about a novel with the same name written by Anuja chauhan. I cant say more about the film’s story but if you read the book it’s all about a girl Zoya, superstitious things and Cricket. My character is of an opening batsman of Indian Cricket Team in the film, Shivi, he is an attacking batsman.”
On talking about his rapport with costars: “Dulquer Salman is a fantastic personality. He is humble and down to earth. Director Abhishek Sir was too good, he creates a cool and friendly environment during the shoots. And working with Sonam Kapoor I can say it’s a dream come true for me. I saw her in Sawariya and since then I m a big fan of her. When I got to know that I am going to shoot with Sonam, I was left stunned.
Chaudhary will also be seen in Commando 3 .
