The 128th birth anniversary of Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar was observed in Chittaranjan Locomotive Work’s (CLW) administrative office.
Ram Prakash, Ravij Seth, B K Singh, S P Marandi along with senior officers and other members of SC/ST association garlanded the portrait of Dr Ambedkar and paid the tribute.
S P Marandi recalled the efforts of Dr Ambedkar on upliftment of socially downtrodden people and their rights in society. Sanjiv Kumar delivered a speech on political contribution of Ambedkar from national freedom struggle to strengthening of Indian democracy.
Praveen Mishra, general manager of CLW also expressed his respect to Dr Bhim Rao and stressed upon to follow the path shown by him.
