world HRD Congress awards TRIFED MD
The managing director of the Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India Limited (TRIFED), Pravir Krishna, has been conferred with the prestigious award—‘CEO with HR Orientation’ at the 27th edition of the World HRD Congress 2019, organised recently. The MD was awarded for his tireless efforts which has added thousands of tribal entrepreneurs to the supply chain of Tribes India.
NLCIL & NHPC join hands on power trading
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) between NLC India Limited (NLCIL) and NHPC Limited has been signed in the area of Power Trading. The MoU was signed by A Ganesan, Executive Director (Commercial) of NLCIL and D Chakraborty, CGM (Finance) of NHPC Limited in Chennai in the presence of Rakesh Kumar, CMD, R Vikraman, Director (Human Resources) and Nadella Naga Maheswar Rao, Director (Planning and Projects) of NLCIL, through video conference. Through this MoU, NHPC Limited and NLCIL will offer surplus power available in the northern and North East region to the bulk consumers in the southern region at an affordable tariff.
NFL presents interim dividend of Rs 39.95 cr to government
The National Fertilisers Limited (NFL) has presented an interim dividend of Rs 39.95 crore to the Government of India for the year 2018-19 in respect of the shares held by it. The chairman and managing director of NFL, Manoj Mishra, presented the interim dividend to the Union Minister of Chemicals and Fertilisers, DV Sadananda Gowda. NFL has paid a cumulative dividend of Rs 1,128.75 crore to the Government till date against the paid up equity of Rs 490.58 crore.
