Educational development is an integral part of the capital development as it is not merely confined to infrastructure like construction of roads, flyovers, bridges and more. Its scope is beyond. If you are developing educational infrastructure, your are contributing something more valuable and significant towards the capital development,” said Manish Sisodia, Deputy CM of Delhi at the inaugural function of the International conference on knowledge and policy for sustainable development: global lessons and local challenges, organised by the Directorate of International Affairs, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University at Radisson Blu hotel Dwarka.

He added that educational institutions cannot work in isolation. For the betterment of the society, it is essential to work collectively. Focussing on the crucial role of positive mindset, he stressed that if you have a positive mindset to work, you can do wonders even in available infrastructure and funds.

Presiding over the function of the vice chancellor of the university, professor Dr Mahesh Verma, said that the whole world is like a family. We are concerned for everyone. It is a part of our culture and heritage. For development, it is essential to be innovative and experimental. University is a strong stack holder of sustainable development. We are intended to be oriented towards sustainable development.
