The holy town is all set to host nine-day Navratra festival, which is going to begin on September 29 with elaborative arrangements by the Government, said divisional commissioner, Sanjeev Verma.
Elaborating on details about annual pilgrimage to Vaishno Devi, the Div Com informed that 3,18,753 pilgrims have paid obeisance at the revered Cave during Navratras in 2018. This year’s events would include shobha yatras, mata ki kahani, cultural programmes, prabhat pheris, all India devotional songs competition, Bhagvat Katha, hassaya vyang sammelan and programme by specially-abled children.
