After being banned for eight months by the censor board, No Fathers in Kashmir will finally be released across the country.
The film made headlines earlier this week when it finally got justice and the U/A certificate that it had been fighting for all these months.
The film is directed by Ashvin Kumar, who has previously been nominated for an Oscar for his short film, Little Terrorist, and has won two National awards for his eye opening films on Kashmir — Inshallah Football and Inshallah Kashmir. No Fathers in Kashmir is the third in his Kashmir trilogy. The film runs on themes of hope, peace and humanity, with a bold tagline, Everybody thinks they know Kashmir.
Besides being its writer and director, Ashvin also stars as one of lead characters of the film, besides Soni Razdan, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Anshuman Jha and Maya Sarao.
The film is slated to release on April 5.
