‘Kareena is my support system’

Actress Karisma Kapoor says her sister and actress Kareena Kapoor Khan and she are each other's biggest support system and confidante.

Asked if Kareena comes to her for tips on acing motherhood, Karisma said, “Me and Kareena are very close. We discuss everything, including our kids. We are both each other's biggest confidante and support system.”

Which of her films' remake would she want Kareena to star in?

Biwi No.1, replied Karisma.

She called the 1990s era as the golden time for Hindi cinema.

“1990s has some of the biggest hits in the history of Indian cinema and has been one of the best eras in Indian cinema,” she said. ‘RRR is a fictional story set in 1920s pre-independent era. Most of us are well aware of the stories of Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. We know they are popular freedom fighters and were fearless. What most of us don't know is that there are gaps in the lives of these revolutionaries that we don't know about. We don't know what happened in their lives in these years.’

Singer Shaan feels that filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is underrated as a composer.

Apart from directing, Bhansali has also given music for movies such as Padmaavat and Bajirao Mastani.

Shaan feels that Bhansali, for whom he sang the chartbuster Jab se tere naina, is equally good as a composer.

Praising Bhansali, Shaan said, “People always talk about the grandiosity of SLB's sets but his music is equally great. I feel Sanjay is underrated as a composer. His music and songs are just wonderful.”

Game of Thrones star Kit Harington will host Saturday Night Live on April 6, and actress Emma Stone will host it the following week.

His stint arrives just ahead of the April 14 premiere of the HBO fantasy drama's final season, which will air in India on Star World.

Stone will emcee the April 13 episode, with BTS performing as well. This marks the fourth time that the Oscar-winning Stone, who recently headlined the Netflix dark comedy Maniac, will host SNL. Later this year, she will star in Zombieland: Double Tap.
