I am not scared of failure: Varun

Actor Varun Dhawan is expanding his horizon with each of his projects — be it Badrinath Ki Dulhania, October and the recent release Kalank, which has become the highest opener of 2019 so far. The actor says he treats each project as a challenge, and pushes himself to improve his craft.

“I am not scared of failure, but each movie is a challenge. I work harder with each project and try and improve my work constantly. Failure and success come with every occupation and the film industry is no different. I believe that what goes around comes around. Bad things happen, followed by better things,” Varun said.

‘Fairy Folk is the most fun experience I have had in a while. There was no written dialogue. I think improvised dialogue is so crazy and beautifully illogical — a quality which very few and extremely skilled writers are able to achieve with scripted lines. Also, it was a delight to play off actors who have an appetite for improvisation. I had to simply turn up on set and be open to having some fun.’

Actor Rajkummar Rao has praised his girlfriend and actress Patralekhaa. He says the Citylight actress makes him proud.

Rajkummar shared a poster of Patralekhaa's next film titled Badnaam Gali along with a poster of his forthcoming film Mental Hai Kya. In the image, Patralekhaa can be seen with a blooming baby bump and actor Divyendu Sharma in a shocked expression.

Cheering for the actress, Rajkummar captioned, “It doesn't happen quite often that both our posters come out on the same day. You wonder girl Patralekhaa. You make me proud.”

Rose has no sense of smell

Actress Rose McGowan says she has no sense of smell but “extraordinary” powers of taste.

“I did a series of tests at Harvard because I lost my sense of smell in a freak accident. They were studying me because I could still taste which is normally interrelated. I got hit in the head with a car door in a freak valet accident,” McGowan said.

“Not being able to smell, I've had to get gas monitors for my house and things like that because I accidentally left the gas on one night and didn't know because I couldn't smell it. There are some inherent dangers that come with not smelling. I can only use bath products I have always used,” she said.
