‘Tales of India's heroes fascinating’

Actor Arjun Kapoor, who was last seen in the film India's Most Wanted, says cross-border cop chase has become a trending topic in Bollywood because tales defining the heroes of India make for fascinating storytelling.

Apart from India's Most Wanted, films like Raazi, Uri and Baby in the past have shown cross-border police chase on the silver screen.

“There were so many stories that we may have felt apprehensive about putting out there. Importantly, it is about the relevance (of the story). If the audience wants to watch relevant stuff, they have given us indicators with Raazi, Uri and other films over the last few years,” Arjun said.

‘When I was growing up,  the only way to show rebelling is to bunk classes for no reason actually. Today's rebellions are different. They are into drugs and porn. If parents are not evolving with their children, they really would not be able to understand the internal problems that children are going through. Children will live in suppression. That will make them depressed and they will remain misunderstood by the elders.’

Actress Sonakshi Sinha says she has always believed in doing challenging roles.

In Khandaani Shafakhana, Sonakshi will be seen essaying the role of Baby Bedi who inherits a sex clinic from her uncle.

The actress is happy that she is receiving appreciation from her female as well as male fans for taking up this issue.

“The kind of response I have been receiving from my fans, especially boys, is quite surprising in a good way. I hope we can make some difference in the society through our film,” she said.

Stallone's daughter to debut

Hollywood superstar Sylvester Stallone's daughter Sistine Rose is all set to make her debut in the survival horror drama, 47 Meters Down: Uncaged, scheduled to release in India on August 30.

Director Johannes Robert's film is a follow-up to 2017s 47 Meters Down, which stars Mandy Moore.

The sequel revolves around the expeditions of four teenagers who dive in an underwater city only to find their adventure turn into their worst nightmare, as they fall prey to a deadly shark attack.

It also stars John Corbett, Nia Long, Sophie Nélisse, Corinne Fox, Brianne Tju.
