Parineeti admits being depressed

Actress Parineeti Chopra's confessions of a depressive phase in her life have gone viral. The actress recently described the phase as the ‘worst time of her life,’ and said she went into a shell.

“The end of 2014 and the year 2015, those one-and-a-half years were the worst time of my life. Two of my films, Daawat-e-Ishq and Kill Dil were released back-to-back and didn't work,” she said.

She talked about this in an interview while promoting her forthcoming film, Jabariya Jodi.  “I just took life into my own hands because I thought if I go into this pit I will never come out again,” said she.

‘The first Bollywood film I watched was Asoka (Santosh Sivan's 2001 directorial). I saw Kareena (Kapoor) dancing in it and she was looking stunning. It was like watching The Last Of The Mohicans or Braveheart. After that I watched Devdas, and then Black. Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been a huge part of me wanting to do Hindi films.’

Actor Ayushmann Khurrana has the most enviable line up of content cinema under his belt. Riding on five back to back hits, the poster boy of quality cinema has four brilliant projects under his belt which he hopes would deliver maximum entertainment to audiences.

“These four films will present me in four absolutely different avatars that no one has ever seen me play. I’m relishing the challenge they have posed and I am actually very excited about doing such different films because they push me in different directions,” says Ayushmann.

‘I know how my show will end’

Actor Milo Ventimiglia has an idea about how his popular show, This Is Us will end, and he says keeping the secret is like ‘carrying a nuclear football.’

“I know the far-off on how the show will end, but that is what I've been told. So, things can always change. It's a newspaper. You got to wait and see what's going to happen. But what I know is really, truly beautiful,” Ventimiglia says.

The show, also featuring Mandy Moore, Justin Hartley, Sterling K. Brown and Chrissy Metz, revolves around the lives of a group of people with the same birthday.
