Alia lauds Bachchan
Actor Alia Bhatt, who will be sharing screen space with Amitabh Bachchan for the first time in Brahmastra, has congratulated the veteran actor on being honoured with the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke Award.
“I would like to congratulate him for receiving this honour. I worked with him in Brahmastra recently, and it was an absolute pleasure. He is a legend in every way and despite that a very down-to-earth and humble person. There is so much to learn from him. I wish him all the best,” she said.
Alia’s forthcoming films are Karan Johar’s Takht, Ayan Mukherji’s Brahmastra and SS Rajamouli’s RRR.

Actor Kajol has penned the foreword of a biopic celebrating the late actress Sridevi. She says it is her way of paying a tribute.
The foreword by the actor appears in Satyarth Nayak’s book Sridevi: The Eternal Screen Goddess.
“Honoured and happy to have the opportunity to pen a foreword for a book celebrating the iconic Sridevi. It was my way of paying a personal tribute to India’s first female superstar. Congratulations @BoneyKapoor, the author @SatyarthNayak and the @PenguinIndia team,” Kajol wrote on social media.
Kylie Jenner hospitalized
Reality TV star Kylie Jenner has been admitted to hospital. She was taken in with “severe, flu-like” symptoms. Due to her illness, she even cancelled her Paris Fashion Week trip.
Jenner took to social media and wrote, “I was getting ready to go to Paris for the Balmain show at Paris Fashion Week for the launch of my makeup collab with Olivier. Unfortunately I’m really sick and unable to travel. I’m heartbroken to be missing this show, but I know that my amazing team, and friends will help me be there in spirit. Creating this collection with Olivier has been a dream. Of course this collection isn’t just for the runway. I created this so that you could have a piece of this once in a lifetime event.”
