FIITJEE Talent Reward Exam in December

The FIITJEE Talent Reward Exam (FTRE) is an opportunity for all students to know their current position/rank at national level along with Rank Potential Index for JEE Advanced, JEE Main, KVPY, NTSE and Olympiads. It is the right platform for students of all levels to effectively plan and tread the road of their academic preparation & achieve their aspired goal.

The exam will be held on December 27, 2020 in across India in an offline mode, computer-based test mode (at designated centres) or through proctored online mode (can be taken from home).

Students presently in classes V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, Xand XI (going to class VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI and XII in 2021) are eligible to appear in FTRE 2020.

The last date to register (Online and  Offline) for the exam is December 25, 2020. Through online mode: Registration can be done through www.fiitjee-ftre.com or download FTRE App on your Mobile through Google Play Store. For registration through mobile, please visit www.fiitjee-ftre.com/mobile

The registration fee varies from Rs 400 to Rs 1000 depending upon when you are applying.

Entrepreneurs to Build their Own Ventures

The Indian Institute of Management Udaipur Incubation Center (IIMUIC) announced applications for Pre-Incubation Program 2020 with the vision of transforming entrepreneurial ideas into a reality and building successful ventures. The program will run for ten weeks, starting from the week of January 3, 2021. It will provide a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to work on their ideas.

The COVID-19 has hit businesses and entrepreneurs and affected their ideas even before they had a chance to work on them. In such a scenario, this programme is aimed at empowering budding and aspiring entrepreneurs with an entrepreneurial mindset and business skills necessary to create their venture.

Additionally, they will also develop intrapreneurship skills, and get them started on the venture journey.

workshop by IIT Roorkee and ATAL Academy

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, in association with AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy, organised a one-week virtual workshop on Electrochemical Energy Conversion and Storage from November 23-27, 2020.

The objective was to sensitise the faculty of various engineering colleges towards clean energy technologies. The workshop was inaugurated by Professor Manoranjan Parida, Deputy Director of IIT Roorkee. It witnessed participation of more than 180 faculty members across India. The organisation of the workshop was led by Professor Amit Bhosale and Professor Pratham Arora from the Department of Hydro and Renewable Energy, IIT Roorkee.

“Advanced technologies hold the key to combating environmental issues. Amid growing concerns of pollution and threat to life and biodiversity, the workshop will help in sensitizing  the participants about clean energy technologies: said Professor Ajit K Chaturvedi, Director, IIT Roorkee.
