The University of Sheffield, UK is offering two International LLM Scholarships worth £4,000 towards tuition fees for two outstanding students.
Eligibility: Be an overseas student for fee purposes have an academic offer from us to study the full-time LLM (includes Sheffield LLM, LLM Corporate and Commercial Law and LLM International Law and Global Justice pathways)have an application number.
Applicants from eligible countries will still automatically be eligible for the International Postgraduate Taught Scholarship 2020 (worth £2,000) and can apply for the International Merit Postgraduate Scholarship 2020 (worth 25% of the tuition fee).
How to apply: You must complete the scholarship application form, including a 2,000 word essay. Essay topic — Law alone cannot address all social problems. Discuss.
Scholarship applications will be considered together with your application for admission. Successful applicants will be notified before the end of July 2020.

The Volkswagen Foundation is offering fellowship for international young researchers in all disciplines. Ten to 15 fellowships for researchers will be awarded per year.
Eligibility: Anyone can apply who identifies with the goals of a Freigeist Fellowship and whose proposed research project fits in with the aims pursued by the Freigeist initiative. Candidates must: Their doctorate must have been obtained not longer than five years previously. Must from the outset be integrated within a university or an extra-mural research institution in Germany. Must have changed their academic environment and moved to a new location at the latest when starting the Fellowship. A return to working context of doctorate will only be accepted under exceptional circumstances. A previously completed research sojourn abroad. English language requirements for those who do not speak English as their first language.
