Aligarh: 86 new corona cases including 17 from district jail

The corona is now active in district jail as well. 86 new cases have been found including 17 from the district jail. After several days, the number of infected people today is less than 100. 165 people recovered and returned home. The number of corona infected patients has now reached 7430 in the district.

86 people have been found infected in JN Medical College, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Joint Hospital, Private Lab, and Antigen Test. 17 people were found from the district jail alone. District Magistrate Chandra Bhushan Singh said that based on symptoms, the infected patients are being admitted either to the covid-19 hospital or home Isolation. Samples have been taken for family members and they are kept in home-quarantine. People in contact are also being sampled.

Meanwhile, a corona patient has run away from the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay joint hospital today. Police have been informed by the hospital administration.

The 16-year-old boy, the resident of Palimukimpur, was admitted to Deendayal Hospital on Saturday after being infected. He suddenly disappeared this afternoon. His mobile was also not reachable. The Hospital administration already informed to the police.

One person died before reaching Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Joint Hospital. A person of Swarn Jayanti Nagar was taken to Deendayal Hospital for treatment by their family members on deteriorating of patient's condition. The doctors declared him dead on reaching the hospital. As a precaution, doctors sealed the dead body and sent it for a funeral. The corona test of the deceased was not done.

No isolation even after the calls from control room.

In the death case of an 82-years-old corona infected patient, the negligence of the family members came into light, who accused the district administration. The family alleged that the administration did not isolated the patient even after the positive report, while the control room in-charge Smriti Gautam while presenting evidence of a phone call on Sunday stated that the report of the 82-year-old from the private lab on 18th September came positive. Later, the family members were called in the night from Dr. Nazia posted on PHC painterchauk. Subsequently, Dr. Nazia called again in the morning. The call was again made from the control room on 19th September at 10 am morning. Even then, the family refused to admit the patient to the government hospital. She further said that the patient was referred to the Deendayal hospital on the same night by the district administration. Even after this, family members did not agree to admit the patient.

5 family members of the advocate’s family infected.

 The corona test of 72 people was conducted at CHC. An advocate, his two sons, daughter, and son-in-law have been found infected. Advocate is admitted to Pandit Deendayal hospital while both sons have been kept under home isolation. The daughter and son-in-law were sent with him. The number of infected cases has in Khair increased to 216 and active cases to 60.
