Indians tend to ignore teeth problem. This has a down side. This means that there is a possibility that in the old age you may end up with no natural teeth. However, there are a few home remedies that can help keep your teeth healthy.
- Drink a lot of water. Not only is it good for the body, water washes away the food and bacteria left in and around the mouth after a meal. It also neutralises the acidity that erodes the enamel.
- Eating meat, fruits, vegetables, and dairy products provides the nutrients teeth need like calcium.
- Eat sesame seed. It acts like a dental scrub. It will also remove plaque and tartar.
- Take your time to brush your teeth. There was a reason why our elders insisted we brush our teeth after every meal. Brush in circular, up and down, side by side, and diagonal motions. This will help you cover all the areas.
