A tribute to bollywood legengs

Sony Entertainment Television’s popular show, India’s Best Dancer is back with new episodes and this weekend promises to be a magical one! The top 12 contestants along with the choreographers will be seen giving a tribute to the Bollywood legends with their unique styles of dancing. This weekend marks the comeback of the beautiful judge Malaika Arora who will assess the contestants on their entertainment quotient.

While HD popper Tiger Pop with choreographer Vartika will bring back the memories and charm of Rajesh Khanna, Subhranil Paul with choreographer Pankaj will pay a tribute to the iconic disco dancer of Hindi cinema, Mithun Da. Whereas Rutuja from Pune and guru Ashish will bringing back the magic of Master ji Saroj Khan on stage. While Akib Saab and choreographer Paul, known for lyrical hip-hop pay homage to the legendary Raj Kapoor, Sonal Vichare and choreographer Tushar will dance to the tunes of Mr Bachchan. From Dharmendra to Sridevi and Mehmood, the contestants have picked their favourites from the Indian cinema and will bring the stage alive with their performances.

The energy and enthusiasm was so high on the set during the shoot of this episode, that Maliaka Arora, couldn’t hold back and joined contestant Shweta to shake a leg on Helen ji’s beautiful number Piya Tu Ab Toh Aaja… much to everyone’s delight!

Sharing her experience, Malaika added: “It feels great to be back on India’s Best Dancer. The contestants are putting their best foot forward and the competition is getting tougher for us to judge. This week, we are celebrating Bollywood Legends on the show and every contestant is giving a tribute one legend, respectively, through their performance. When Shweta performed on Piya Tu Ab Toh Aaja, I couldn’t hold back. It’s such a peppy number in itself and it’s a song which is evergreen. We’ve all heard this song at least once in our lifetime and one can’t not dance, when this number plays. Overall I think there were some brilliant performances and it just got me thinking how much dance has evolved as a form of expression.”

Speaking of paying tribute to the Bollywood legends, the dynamic hosts of the show, Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa will be seen in a new avatar keeping up with the theme this weekend.

Neha all praise for aditya

All the aspiring singers who are keen on making a name for themselves in the music industry get ready for the auditions as India’s favourite singing reality Indian idol is coming back with its new season. The ghar se manch tak ka safar will be easily accessible on the SonyLIV app, all the participant needs to upload their singing video on the app. This time also the judging panel would have Neha Kakkar, Vishal Dadlani, and Himesh Reshammiya. The first promo of Indian Idol was released recently which featured Aditya Narayan who would be hosting this season of the show as well. Not only that its the first time a host has presented the first look of Indian Idol and has sung for it.

Neha Kakkar found the first promo of Indian idol extremely appealing and could not stop appreciating Aditya Narayan on how good he was in the promo. She found Aditya’s energy in the promo vivacious and felt that anyone who would watch the promo will not be able to get the tune off their head.

Neha expressing her excitement towards the promo said: “I loved the first promo of Indian Idol 12 and found it quite catchy. This promo will make everyone smile and the song is such that you cannot stop humming it. I am sure this promo would attract more and more aspiring singers to upload their best singing performance on Sony Liv app. The show has given many aspiring singers a platform to showcase their talent including me and will continue to do so. Timnasa’s quest to find nakabposh

Vivaan and Nakabposh are yet again on the crossroads as Timnasa’s (Pavitra Punia) evil plan to turn Earth into ice has put Vivaan’s (Vansh Sayani) supernatural identity under the threat of being exposed. Sony SAB’s Baalveer Returns is set to push the viewers on the edge of their seats as their favourite superhero’s Baalveer and Nakabposh (Dev Joshi) fight another dangerous battle.

Timnasa in a bid to draw Nakabposh out, creates an atmosphere so cold that everything starts turning into ice. With Nakabposh on a mission to find the clues to discover the ultimate weapon that can kill Timnasa, Vivaan now is left to fight this battle all by himself. Before leaving to find the real source of the problem, Vivaan makes Dooba Dooba (Shridhar Watsar) take his form and be at his house, so his mother, Karuna and his family do not get suspicious.

A suspicious Timnasa starts getting restless when Nakabposh and Vivaan do not show up for the fight and later learns that it is Dooba Dooba who has taken Vivaan’s form. She threatens Dooba Dooba saying if they do not present themselves in front of her, she will expose Vivaan’s real identity as Baalveer in front of his family and entire Bharat Nagar. Time is running out as the earth is turning into ice. What will Vivaan choose? To save himself from being exposed or save the world from turning into ice?

Pavitra Punia said: “Timnasa is the ultimate evil mastermind in the show. She has still not found out who is Nakabposh. In a quest to find and defeat Nakabposh, Timnasa has planned a scheme which neither Baalveer nor Nakabposh can defeat. It is like a double-edged sword where they are bound to lose in one way or the other. It has been exciting to shoot the upcoming episodes.”
