The BJP prepared a political roadmap for Odisha for next six months at its first virtual meeting of its State functionaries held on Saturday.
Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan highlighted the Central schemes undertaken by the Modi Government to help people during the Covid pandemic. He called upon party workers to strengthen the organisation and serve people. State president Samir Mohanty stressed on the need of ensuring Central schemes reach people at grassroots level. He said the BJP aims to make Odisha a corruption-free State and involve it in the country’s development process.
Various issues, including women security, Rath Yatra and Covid, were discussed at the meeting. Among other leaders, Prithviraj Harichandan, Dr Lekhasri Samantsinghar, Saudan Singh, Baijayant Panda, MP Suresh Pujari, MP Jual Oram, KV Singh Deo and Leader of Opposition in State Assembly Pradipta Naik were present.
