In a novel initiative, the Ganjam district administration on Thursday issued a WhatsApp number for people of the district to lodge their grievances.
Official sources said the district administration asked people to send their applications through the WhatsApp number 09437563800 instead of visiting the district Collectorate. The applications would be processed as per procedure thereafter. Besides, someone can call the number between 10.30 am to 5 pm in case of any issues.
This is the first time that the local administration of a district in the State has issued a WhatsApp number for public to lodge their grievances.
