#SupportMadeInIndia gets who’s who push

The #BoycottMadeInChina and BoycottChineseProducts is trending on twitter with over 1,25,000 tweets since Saturday morning after Innovator Sonam Wangchuk urged people of India to boycott "Made in China" in response to Chinese aggression at the border in Ladakh over the past few weeks.

"Give up all Chinese software in a week, all Chinese hardware in a year," said the man who inspired the character "Phunsuk Wangdu" in the blockbuster film "3 Idiots".

Soon after Sonam Wangchuk made an appeal, eminent personalities from Bollywood like Arshad Warsi, Milind Soman, Ayushmann Khurana, Ranvir Shorey and others joined the ongoing "Boycott China" campaign on social media.

 Taking to Twitter, Arshad Warsi stated that from now onwards he is consciously going to avoid using Chinese goods. "I am consciously going to stop using everything that is Chinese. As they are a part of most of the things we use, it will take time but I know, one day I'll be Chinese free. You should try it too," he wrote. Actor-model Milind Soman also mentioned that he is no longer available on Chinese short-video making application TikTok. "Am no longer on tiktok. "On one hand, our soldiers are fighting them and on the other hand, we buy Chinese hardware and use software like the TikTok and Helo app, we give them business worth crores so they can arm their soldiers to fight against us," he said.This time, India's wallet power rather than bullet power will help, the Magsaysay award recipient said. Joining the movement, Many localities in Madhya Pradesh also joined the #BoycottChina and #SupportMadeinIndia movement. "It's our responsibility as a citizen of this country to boycott Chinese products.

If 130 crore people of our country boycott Made in China products and start a movement to support Made in India goods and apps like ShareChat, Jio, Roposo etc, it will have a worldwide effect.

It will also help our own businesses to grow," said  Sachin Jain social activist from Vikas Samvad supporting the movement for promoting Made in India products." Smriti Raj, eminent Kathak Singer urges Indians to use ShareChat which promotes local culture and values and propagates Indianness on its platform.

"Its an app that gives platform to Indian talent by promoting our culture and values" and support india in true sense" I support it and urges people to use it as opposed to TikTok which is a threat to our culture"
