In a bid to provide quality education online amid the Covid-19 pandemic, 1,500 video lectures of specialist faculties were made and successfully uploaded on the website of Durg University in Chhattisgarh.
The videos were made during a 10-day Online Faculty Development Programme jointly organized by Hemchand Yadav University, Durg, and the Govt. V.Y.T. PG Autonomous College, Durg, following the guidelines of the Higher Education Department.
These student friendly educational videos can be viewed and downloaded any time.
Home Minister Tamradhawj Sahu participated in the programme at its concluding ceremony on Friday through a video conference from Raipur, an official statement said.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Aruna Palta of the Hemchand Yadav University briefed the Minister about the achievements of the programme.
“In 10 days, more than 400 teachers and lecturers participated in the programme and shared relevant and innovative information about research projects, fellowship and new opportunities,” Dr Palta said. This will help faculties as well as students to groom themselves, Dr Palta added. The Minister appreciated the creative work done by the Durg University amid the Covid-19 lockdown.
