A 13-year-old girl was allegedlly raped by a 35 year-old man in Delhi's Tughlakabad area on Sunday.
According to a senior police official, the accused identified as Anan Ali, a resident of Jhuggi Kuan Mohalla in Tughlakabad took her to his house at about 1.30 PM and raped her on Sunday.
"The girl is a student of sixth class whereas alleged accused Ali is working in a Kirana shop at Tughlaqabad. Father of the victim is a field worker in a private Company and he mother is a maid," said the senior police official.
"Legal action is being taken. Counseling of girl is underway and thereafter will be got medically examined," he said.
