A 17-year-old girl was sexually assaulted and exploited for the past four months by a youth luring her of marriage and later refused to marry her when she got pregnant. A case of rape was registered against the accused on Tuesday by Ashoka Garden police.

According to the police, the matter came to fore after victim got pregnant and accused identified as Shiva Gaikwad refused to marry her. Police said that the victim was sexually assaulted by accused who lives in the same locality. The accused used to sexually exploit the victim.

The girl in her complaint stated that accused lured her and took her to Shiv Sai hotel at 80 ft road in April and sexually assaulted her. The accused assured her of marrying and continued to sexually exploit her till the month of June. Later when she found that she was pregnant she informed accused and asked to marry her but he refused.

The police after preliminary investigation registered a case against the accused. A case under sections 376 and 506 of the IPC was registered against the accused.

Meanwhile, Mahila police have booked a man for was sexually exploited a 47-year-old woman for the past two years; a complaint was lodged by the victim on Tuesday.

According to the police, the victim was sexually assaulted by the accused, Naresh Kumar Goplani , for the past two years on the pretext of marriage .

The two developed relationship in May 2018 and later she was exploited for two years and accused refused to marry her. Based on the complaint and after the preliminary investigation, the police have registered a case under sections 376 and 506 of the IPC.
