With over 2,889 fresh coronavirus cases reported on Sunday, the number of cases has reached 83,077 in the national Capital. However, 2,623 persons have died till now in which 65 died on Sunday. As per the Sunday heath bulletin released by the Delhi Government, 52,607 patients have recovered, been discharged or migrated so far, while number of active cases stood at 27,847, adding 4,98,416 tests have been conducted till date, it said
The number of containment zones in the city on Sunday stood at 417. It added calls received in the control room are 378 and the total number of calls dispatched to ambulances is 875.
Meanwhile, the Delhi Government has issued an order regarding creation of hospital bed capacity by linking the operation of health care facilities for Covid-19 in identified banquet halls to the hospitals for running the centres as extended facilities of the hospital.
“An order has been issued regarding operating hospital beds in banquet halls in coordination with the linked hospital and another order was also issued regarding operationalisation of 450 beds in Burari hospital in phased manner,” it said.
