2 more Covid Hospitals opened in Brahmapur

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday inaugurated two more Covid Hospitals with ICU facility here through videoconferencing. The hospitals have 150 beds and 24 ICU beds each with ventilators. One has come up at Kanishi and the other at the paediatric ward of MKCG Hospital.

“My Government will leave no stone unturned in fighting this pandemic and saving lives of our people,” the CM said.

He said Ganjam district is fighting the pandemic very well due to dedication and sacrifice of Covid warriors and support from the people.

More than 85% of rural Ganjam is in green zone and the recovery rate in Ganjam is much higher than the national average, he informed, adding that there has been a downward trend in the positive cases rate.
