A two year old baby girl drowned in a water tank at Shahjehanabad area on Tuesday; girl fell while playing in the evening.According to the police, the girl Hifza Khan was found drowned in underground late in the evening. She was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared brought dead.

Police were informed and on the receipt a police team reached the spot. After preliminary investigation the police registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and sent the body for the post mortem.During the investigation police found that the girl was playing at around 6 pm and later she went missing. The family members started to search for the girl and later found her drowned inside the underground water tank. The father of the girl works with a private firm. The girl was the youngest among the three siblings. Meanwhile, a 22-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at his residence at Kotra village under Kamla Nagar police station area on Tuesday.

Police said that the deceased Lokesh Yadav was found hanging and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. In the initial investigation, police found that the deceased committed

suicide at around 5 pm and after his body was spotted his family members took him to hospital.During the investigation police have not found any suicide note or any reason behind the suicide.

The family members failed to provide any reason behind the suicide. The deceased used to help his father who sell fruits. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
