As many as 215 persons, including 26 corona warriors, tested positive for Covid-19 in Ganjam district in last 24 hours. With this, the district tally mounted to 2,836.
Official sources said the new positive cases have been shifted to a Covid Hospital.
Apart from the 26 corona warriors, five persons with outside travel history were among the fresh positive cases in the district. The number of the day’s local contact cases was 184.
In the district, a total of 1,487 patients have recovered so far. The number of active cases now stands at 1,325 and as many as 24 have died of the disease.
